Good Day Glenn Elementary School Community:
I am Cornelius G. Redfearn proud principal and leader of Glenn Elementary. I am currently in my 12th year as an educator. I spent 5 years as fourth grade teacher at Pearsontown Elementary, 2 years as an assistant principal at Hope Valley Elementary, and 4 years as the principal of Lakewood Elementary. I am married and a proud father of 5 children. Each of which are students in Durham Public Schools.
We have had a great start to the school year. Teachers are excited about the new standard for teaching and students have arrived with great excitement in their eyes.
Quite honestly, we are looking for the best year Glenn Elementary has had in a number of years. In order to achieve this success we are encouraging ALL families to be involved in their child’s learning.
